Assistant Lecturer

Research Interest: Graduate student associate, Ecological and Environmental Change Research Group
(EECGR), University of Bergen Norway.

Brief Biography

Collins E. Bulafu is a terrestrial tropical plants ecologist and teaches tropical ecology, conservation science, environmental and natural resources management. My research interests include ecology, plant taxonomy, biodiversity assessments, urban forest dynamics, forest fragment dynamics as well human-wildlife interactions.  I am a trained IUCN Red List conservation assessor and Environmental niche modelling expertise. More recently he has picked interest in green accounting and carbon mapping. I am a certified Environmental Impact Assessment practitioner with over 8 years’ experience. Other interest outside academia include community environmental awareness training and ecosystem restoration ambassador.
